From a very early age Lauren developed a passion for art and anything creative. When the time came she decided to study Fine Art at Loughborough University School of Art and Design, graduating in 2009 Painting and Photography are currently the main focus of her practice and she is adept at working on large scale. Lauren is also skilled in other disciplines, producing a wide variety of work. While studying, her work has covered many different subjects such as the natural world and the highly personal exploration of suffering from a serious illness and how it can affect perception of time. Lauren also currently works as a assistant to the Artistic Director of FRINGEMK. FRINGEMK create a wide variety of artistic events in Milton Keynes such as Dance performances & workshops, Painting & Pavement Prizes and a yearly programme of exhibitions in the Centre:MK and Midsummer Place.
